The Mudd Foote

The Mudd Foote, a distinctive funk rock blues band, brings you musical roots combined with the lively energy of Los Angeles. Comprising the collaborative talents of Rev. Rooster and Zeus Einstein, this duo forms a seasoned team with a shared passion for music and magical moments. Their musical journey is marked by a genuine fusion of influences, seamlessly blending the swampy slides from the Deep South with the rugged essence of the Wild West.

Earning their stripes through collaborations with some of the finest funk and blues musicians of our era, The Mudd Foote has built a solid reputation. Their musical approach is akin to a meeting point where Jimi Hendrix and Muddy Waters might have found common ground, as if the spirit of their sounds converges within the walls of a cosmic church.

Rev. Rooster

Rev. Rooster was born and raised in LA. Inspired by Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix he kicked off his musical career as a drummer at 19. He toured Europe with the band Hollywood Party Boys. During his musical journeys he had the honor of playing drums for Sly Stone, Barry White and Maxi Priest. Over the years he mastered the bass and is now frontman for the blues band The Other Mules and his own band The Mudd Foote.

Zeus Einstein

Zeus, also known as Olivier Scoazec, was raised in Nancy, France. He became known as "The Eric Clapton of Nancy". In 1980 Zeus relocated with a childhood friend to New Orleans, Louisiana. He fell in love with the music, the food and the voodoo. He ended up staying for 32 years before moving to Los Angeles in 2012. During his Louisiana adventures he won a grammy as a guitarist with Buckwheat Zydeco and played with Harry "Big Daddy" Hypolite, Beau Jocque, and Zachary Richard. He also played the blues with Henry Gray, and Lightning Hopkins.
